Hewitts

A Hewitt is a hill in England, Wales, or Ireland over 2,000 feet (610 m) high, with at least 30 metres of drop on every side. This page lists every Hewitt currently in our directory.

The name spells out the definition: Hills in England, Wales and Ireland over Two Thousand feet. Alan Dawson proposed the set in 1992, and the lists appeared in booklets from 1997.

The 30-metre rule cuts out the minor tops. That answers the main complaint about the Nuttalls, whose lower threshold keeps them in.
