Marilyns

A Marilyn is a hill of any height with at least 150 metres of drop on every side. This page lists every Marilyn currently in our directory.

Alan Dawson defined the set in 1992 in The Relative Hills of Britain. The name is a deliberate pun on Munro. They stand all over Britain and Ireland, from low coastal hills to the highest summits.

With no height limit, the round mixes mountain summits with small local hills.
