Munros

A Munro is a Scottish mountain at least 3,000 feet (914.4 m) high. This page lists every Munro currently in our directory.

Sir Hugh Munro published the first tables in 1891. People who climb every current summit are called Munroists. The hills run across the Highlands, from Loch Lomond to the Cairngorms and out to Skye.

Ben Nevis is the highest, at 1,344 m. Most of the others still take a full walking day.
